Kaimua Farm is bursting with new life. We had a Fathers day dinner celebrating the generosity of generations of fathers that invest into the lives & souls of our families. We got to celebrate the birth of a new born grandchild, a much loved grandchild and sons in this ever growing family. In the afternoon three generations gathered under the old Macadamia Nut Trees & gathered the first of the Macadamia Nut Harvest together. We husked the macadamias to start the drying process in our upcycled Crackadamia Machine that Pete & I had bought a from a kind gentleman from Thames called Ian Jenkins. We had it serviced & a sorting table & hopper made by developers Ilko & Elle. Lambs are gracing the hillside soaking up the sunshine under the new newly pruned olive trees. In our pond mother duck has 11 little bundles of wonder exploring the lilly pads tucked up under mum Our new born orpington chicks pipped today and are exploring their new freedom. In the frosty breath of Sunrise we discovered our brave Ewes had bore bonny lambs which bound around their mothers playing in the olive groves.
